He has been groomed since birth to take over the family business. Years of sitting through egg-painting classes and candy-production tutorials, as well as honing his lightning-fast reflexes have all led up to the day he is supposed to claim his birthright. But since he was a baby bunny thumping on his bongos, all E.B. has ever wanted was to become a drummer. Hours before his coronation (when he’s to inherit the mantle of the Easter Bunny) he flees Easter Island for L.A. to pursue his dreams.
- E.B. is similar to Max Goof as both are teenagers/young-adults. Both also live with their fathers (E.B. with Mr. Bunny and Max with Goofy) and their mothers are not seen or mentioned. Both also have a strained relationship with their fathers which is resolved at the end of their films.
- E.B. is the first Illumination animal character to be a protagonist, followed by Max from The Secret Life of Pets and Buster Moon from Sing.
- The second Illumination film to have Russell Brand voice a character, after Dr. Nefario in Despicable Me.
